What we collect and why
- Trade applications — organisation, registration number, contact details, intended research use and identity-verification documents. Lawful basis: contract and legal obligation (verification of research-use supply).
- Serial verification lookups — the serial entered, timestamp and IP address, logged as a verification event to protect against counterfeiting. Lawful basis: legitimate interests.
- Trade bulletin — business email, with consent, unsubscribe in every message.
- Site analytics — analytics provider and cookie consent mechanism to be confirmed.
Retention
Verification records are retained for six years for regulatory audit. Bulletin data is deleted on unsubscribe.
Your rights
Access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection under UK GDPR. You may complain to the ICO at ico.org.uk.
